What to bring essentials

  • Towels - there are hand towels for the basins but please bring towels for the showers
  • Torches - for getting between your yurt and the loos at night
  • Footwear - wellies or walking boots - the grass get’s very wet in the morning/evening dew so even if its a lovely sunny day wellies are good for walking to and from the yurt.
  • Waterproofs - Hopefully you will have lots of sunshine but just in case…
  • Dinner- food/supplies for your first meal if you are arriving late and don’t want to shop on your first day. Here are a few suggested recipes which are easy to do on the outdoor fire. Recipes

Nice to have:

  • Slippers
  • Binoculars- there are plenty of beautiful birds and wildlife to enjoy
  • Insect repellent
  • Cooler box - there are 2 fridges but space is limited so a cooler box might be helpful if you are a larger group

We provide:

  • All bedding
  • A hairdryer in the ladies
  • Matches
  • First night/day firewood, kindling and firelighters for your wood burner and cooking fire pit. Thereafter wood and kindling is available at £5 a bag
  • Toilet paper
  • Hand towels
  • The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, crockery and cutlery
  • Tea/coffee/sugar in the kitchen
