We're good to go!

Spring is here, although the temperature doesn’t yet quite reflect spring, but before too long we will be enjoying some lovely sunshine. It has been a long hard winter for so many people and we are all so looking forward to happier times when we can socialise and holiday with loved ones, family and friends.

We are operating a similar system to last year in respect to COVID procedures. Based on the current Government guidelines when we open on April 12th we will only open 3 of our 4 yurts. This enables each yurt to have private bathroom facilities (normally run as ladies and gents). We are in the process of building a new toilet and shower in the orchard next to Russet yurt. These will of course be of our usual ‘glamping standard’ with power shower and flushing loo! We will be doing our very best to keep the facilities super clean as always and deep clean between each booking. With regards to cooking facilities, each yurt has its own outdoor dining area, gas stove, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery and of course a fire pit with our favourite cooking method, the ‘Serbian Kotlich pots”. Traditionally groups gather round the Kotlich to share food, stories and build community. Which we hope our guests experience when staying with us. So many wonderful recipes can be created on the fire.

We will do our utmost to provide as safe an environment as we possibly can in respect to COVID-19, and we ask that our guests take an active role, to do what they can in helping to reduce the risk to themselves and other guests. Prior to your booking, if any member of your family is feeling unwell or showing the initial signs of infection from the virus (high temperature, persistent cough, loss of smell and/or taste etc), please do not travel, please contact us and let us know. We will happily defer your booking to a later date or next year.

Social distancing – We ask all our guests to follow the current government advice on social distancing. Please keep 2 metres apart from anyone outside your immediate family group. Please respect the wellbeing and feelings of people that live in the local villages, when going for a walk, visiting local areas or using amenities.

As we are all aware, there are several phases of relaxing restrictions in the coming weeks and we will be following guidelines and news updates closely. We are so looking forward to welcoming guests again and wish everyone a wonderful summer and holiday break wherever you visit this year.
